pA new type of art show is being arranged in Greenwich gallery on July 26th next year. The art show will be hosting Sit-in, a chance for artists of any level to show off their work. In a novel twist on conventional exhibitions, photographers will be asked to hold up their work, meaning that they may wish to get comfy.!–more–br / br / This doesnt necessarily mean that you should go out there and a href=http://www.highandmightyseating.com/ target=_blankbuy office furniture/a and bring it down or even bring in your a href=http://www.highandmightyseating.com/product/executive_leather target=_blankexecutive office seating/a in from your work. Instead the gallery is recommending that people bring in their own blankets or benches to the event which only lasts half an hour.br / br / After the exhibition is over half an hour has been designated at the viewfinder for discussion between artists and visitors to do print swaps and talk about each others work.br / br / This is a very unique opportunity for aspiring designers and artists alike to show off their work in a large art gallery for absolutely nothing! Normally, getting your work to feature in a gallery like this is very difficult indeed as there is a lot of red tape to cross. This a great opening for some people out there.br / br / The gallery has never seen anything like this before and are not sure what they might expect. Hopefully, there will be a wide variety of art from people of all ages as well as a wide and diverse range of furniture being used for photographers to sit on.br / br / It is important to remember that the show is not solely focused on office seating but the art that people are mixing with each other. This level of interactivity is what the art community needs right now and with a bit of luck the show may un-cover some real excellent pieces of art./p

pThe summer time is usually a period of happiness and enjoyment. You have a skip in your step, the birds are singing and you have the warm sun on your face. The outlook is not always so good in winter however.!–more– 3% of people suffer from a condition known as Seasonal Affective Disorder, which normally strikes every year, and a further 12% have reported mild cases. These include feelings of unhappiness, tiredness and feeling unwell…although there are many more. It is caused by a lack of sunlight in the winter months having an effect on the chemical balance in the brain. The eyes are very sensitive to light levels and if there is not enough of it around, they will trigger the body to release melatonin in to the blood stream, making us feel lethargic and tired.br /br //ppAll is not lost however, you can fight the effects of seasonal depression by giving a little thought to the furniture you buy and where you place it. Living room and also a href=http://www.newenglandlifestyle.com/BedroomFurniture.htm target=_blankbedroom furniture/a are often the most important to get right as these are the rooms that we spend most of our time in. Purchasing a href=http://www.newenglandlifestyle.com/ target=_blankwhite furniture/a like white wardrobes, tables and chairs will increase the amount of light that is reflected around the room and will have a large impact on mood.br /br //ppA minimal approach to furniture is also a good idea as this helps open up rooms and reduces the feeling of being cluttered. Not only does less furniture been you wont bump into stuff as much when you move around, but additionally the light that enters the room bumps into less things and this makes the room brighter. It also helps painting your walls a light and airy colour to improve light reflection as well.br /br //ppSome ideas for reducing the amount of furniture you have include only having your table large enough for everyday use and taking away or adding chairs if and when you need them, only have one a href=http://www.newenglandlifestyle.com/MaineRange_MaineWhiteBedsideTable.htm target=_blankbedside table/a rather than one each side, and getting rid of small pieces that only have aesthetic value./p

Simple but Stylish Dinnerware is the Best Choice

pSetting a stylish and attractive dinner table is an art that is certain to make dinner guests feel that extra bit special. Keeping it simple is the trick to a stylish table.br /br /Choose a href=http://www.johnjenkinsdirect.co.uk/Tableware.htm target=_blankdinnerware/a that is durable and dishwasher proof.!–more– My personal preference is for all white crockery and a href=http://www.johnjenkinsdirect.co.uk/Tableware_Cutlery.htm target=_blankstainless steel cutlery/a in a contemporary design. But, whatever your taste, you want your dinnerware to last for more than just one meal so be certain to check that the crockery is chip and scratch resistant.br /br /An important thing to consider when buying a dinner service or cutlery set is can you buy individual, replacement items. Inevitably plates and bowls will eventually get dropped, broken, cracked and chipped. Its much better to be able to replace any damaged items without having to go to the expense of replacing the whole dinner service.br /br /This is equally important for cutlery. My partner often treats the cutlery drawer as a tool box and will sometimes reach for a table knife rather than track down a screw driver. Over the years weve been together Ive had to replace quite a few knives and spoons that he has chosen to use as tools. Its always good if you can buy replacement individual items.br /br /Although the dinner service and cutlery are important, there is much more to setting an attractive dinner table. a href=http://www.johnjenkinsdirect.co.uk/ target=_blankGlassware/a is also important and again I recommend simple, but stylish. Like your crockery, choose glassware that is dishwasher safe and make certain you have a good stock of glasses. At the very least I would recommend that you have a set of six general purpose tumblers, six red wine glasses, six white wine glasses and maybe some glasses for spirits if they are your tipple. Alternatively, if you enjoy a glass or three of champagne, get yourself a nice set of champagne flutes.br /br /Crisp linen or cotton napkins are always preferable to those throwaway paper ones. A few wipe clean place mats will be enough for daily use but you will probably want a nice crisp table cloth and some napkins for entertaining.br /br /Set this off with a tasteful centrepiece and all you need to provide is the food and wine. But that will be a whole new story./p

pHealth spas all over the country are being forced to introduce compulsory disclaimers to protect themselves against the dramatic increase in personal injury claims against them. The number of claims last year increased by 36% according the National Spa Association, the majority of which were related to massage. The situation has led to an increased depth in the a href=http://www.thesanctuary.co.uk/beauty-treatment.htm target=_blankspa treatment/a screening process of clientele and more legal protective procedures to be put in place.!–more–/ppbr / The rise in the number of people claiming is considered by many to be caused by the recent incident of a young lady suing for damages after a massage supposedly went wrong.Even though she had previously sought medical treatment for issues related to her back, she verbally confirmed with the therapist that she no longer had any problems. However, when she was left with temporary debilitating pains apparently caused by the treatment, she decided to make a claim and was given over ten grand her troubles./ppbr / Since this incident, the amount of claims being filled has gone through the roof. Whilst the majority have been massage related, spas have also seen a rise in claims related to skin damage, emotional trauma and even sexual harassment. It is thought that a large majority of the claims are false and are made by people looking to make some quick compensation money. A number of insurance companies have announced that they will take strong legal action against false claims, but this is still a worrying time for any a href=http://www.thesanctuary.co.uk/ target=_blankhealth spa/a./ppbr / The advice that is being given out to all health spas at the moment is to be very diligent when it comes learning as much about the clients health and history as possible and also to maintain good standards of service. They are advised to source all a href=http://www.thesanctuary.co.uk/skin-care.htm target=_blankskin care products/a from reputable companies, service and check over their equipment as often as possible, and maintain regular high quality treatment training for their therapists/p

Reducing clutter in your home

One of the first steps in keeping a house clean is to reduce the amount of clutter in the house. The more stuff you have in the house, the more time you will have to spend clean the stuff and the house. Dust accumulates on every thing , so if you don not have too many gadgets and appliances, cleaning will be much simpler and you will not have to spend time picking up things and putting them in your place. The clutter makes the house look messy, even if there is very little stuff in the house.

You can simplify your work by throwing away things which you do not use regularly. Though it is sometimes difficult to throw away things (since you will never get it back), do a very rational evaluation. Try to remember when you last used the appliances, clothes or furniture. If you have not used it for a year, you are unlikely to need it in the future.

Many appliances which you were planning to repair become obsolete in a few years. Spare parts may not be available or the cost of repairing may be more than buying a new appliances. New models of computers and home appliances are introduced every year, so it is advisable to scrap the older models, instead of trying to repair them.
